The Global Africa Youth Dialogue, Is an Intergenerational Dialogue Initiated by African Students in Global Governance at the university of Rome Tor Vergata, In cooperation with other African Students in Rome based universities, to advocate for Youth Engagement In Africa's Development Plans, provide and create an exchange opportunity for African Youth in Diaspora to gain first-hand knowledge and foster their Understanding on the Functions and Principles adopted by the African Union.
Aligned with the African Youth Charter adopted on July 02.2006, we are highly convinced that Africa's greatest resource is its youthful population and that through its active and full participation, Africans can surmount the difficulties that lie ahead.
Inspired by African Youth Charter Article 10(3d) “Development”, Article 11 “Youth Participation” and 21 “Youth in Diaspora” and AU agenda 2063, Aspiration 6: An Africa, whose development is people-driven, relying on the potential of African people, especially its women and youth, and caring for children.

To raise awareness about meaningful youth engagement in decision and Policy making.
To address diverse challenges and unmet needs of Youth in African/Diaspora for meaningful participation.
To strengthen and spread awareness of available commitments on youth engagement at continental Level.
To create a modality platform for youth to plot strategic actions, negotiate, resolve conflicts and navigate possible solutions that affect Africa and the world's agenda amicably.
Provide an overview on African Youth Potential in the achievement of the "Africa We want".
Share good practice and practical approaches: Provide an opportunity for peer learning on how young people could be engaged in the decision and policy making process.
Explore key challenges and opportunities: including how to build and use available Youth opportunities in Africa and the role of the African diaspora in transforming the African dream into a reality.
Our Session focuses : on the role of Youth Engagement in development agenda, Decision and policy making process adopted on the Local and Continental Level. the dialogue will be structured around three key areas related to advocating for Meaningful African Youth Involvement and Role of African Diaspora towards the achievement of the Africa We want: Available approaches & Strategies; AU Agenda 2063 (with Focus to Aspiration 6) ; and Youth Consultation.
Our Sessions Format : consist of a moderated Open Dialogue among speakers and participants, with a selection of Diplomats, Leaders, Youth Advocates, Researchers, Experts and Students based in Rome.
Those includes, An African Embassy representative in Rome, AU representative remarks, different organizations and 35 students from University of Rome Tor vergata, Luiss University, La Sapienza University of Rome and Saint Camillus International University of Health Science.
